M/Y Ciao (Moonen) completes her first cruising season after installing Stabilis Electra

In most recent years M/Y Ciao has undergone a major refit, the main improvement being the set up of a new stabilization system by CMC Marine and more precisely the Stabilis Electra HS60, 5kW, fin 1,40 sqm.

We met Ciao’s Captain Salvador Aragao and asked him about his experience with the CMC Marine team and Stabilis Electra. The boat had already been fitted with fin stabilizers (of a different make) during construction but – after surveying the market and understanding the benefits of a newer technology – the Owner of Ciao decided to have it on his yacht: high roll reduction also at anchor, very reactive and extremely low noise, which makes the difference at night.
