Position: Sales Engineer

Report to: Sales Manager

CMC Marine is the leading manufacturer of electrically-actuated fin stabilizers, thrusters and rudder systems for Superyachts and is currently reinforcing its Sales Team to support an ambitious international growth strategy.

Sales Engineer
The Sales Engineer will play a key role in the growth of CMC Marine’s business world-wide, representing the Company with both Clients (Shipyard, Yacht owners, Captains) and the Sales network.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain relationships with existing Clients, responding to technical queries and identifying new sales opportunities
• Contact prospect Clients, present CMC Marine’s products, understand their needs and identify new sales opportunities
• Take actions in line with the operational sales plan and maintain a reporting system
• Project and manage the customization requests until final delivery to the Client
• Travel to meet clients and to participate in Boat Shows and other Marketing events (both in Italy and abroad)
• Maintain market awareness and market intelligence, ensuring feedback to other departments

Technical skills:

• Able to discuss complex technical and commercial issues in English and Italian
• Knowledge of Naval architecture to understand the Client’s project needs
• Degree in Naval Architecture or Naval Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Shipyard experience (preferred)
• Yachting or nautical experience (preferred)

Posizione: Progettista Meccanico 

Dipartimento: Ufficio Tecnico 

Riporta a: Responsabile Ufficio Tecnico 

Principali attività: 

• Progettazione meccanica utilizzando software CAD 2D e 3D (Solid Works) 
• Ottimizzazione dei costi dei componenti e dei cicli di produzione
• Definizione distinte, componenti e materiali per tipologie di prodotto 
• Industrializzazione prodotti, produzione e mantenimento della documentazione di supporto 
• Studio ed analisi di nuove soluzioni tecniche innovative

Competenze tecniche:

• Esperto nella progettazione meccanica di macchine e relative componenti
• Ottima conoscenza della tecnologia meccanica
• Conoscenza delle lavorazioni meccaniche e dei costi legati ai differenti cicli di lavoro 
• Disegno CAD 3D

Soft skills: 

• Preciso e metodico, fantasioso ma pragmatico 
• Attento al rispetto degli obiettivi imposti, in termini di qualità, tempi e costi 
• Dotato di sufficiente autonomia per poter organizzare in maniera efficace il proprio lavoro 
• Attitudine a lavorare in team

Conoscenze di base:

• Conoscenza base del pacchetto Microsoft Office
• Conoscenza di software di disegno 2D e 3D (Solidworks preferito)
• Conoscenza di software di gestione documentale PDM
• Conoscenza di software gestionale ERP (Oracle JDE preferito) 
• Particolarmente apprezzate precedenti esperienze in aziende strutturate certificate ISO 9001 
• Buona conoscenza dell’inglese

Istruzione:

• Laurea in Ingegneria Meccanica (anche triennale) 

Stipendio e inquadramento: 

• Livello base: 24k€ + bonus 
• Meno di 5 anni di esperienza: 27k€ – 30k€ + bonus 
• Oltre 5 anni di esperienza: a seconda del l’esperienza 
• Contratto a tempo indeterminato
• Full time.
