THE STABILIS ELECTRA FIN WORTH MENTIONED AT THE LATEST SEATEC 2009
Stabilis Electra, the new stabilizer fin with electrical actuator designed and produced from CMC Marine, got a special mention at the recent Seatec 2009, he International Exhibition of technologies and subcontracting for boat and ship builders. The mention was assigned in the within the Qualitec Technology Award, prize created to set off technological innovations presented from the Seatec exhibitors.
The jury, composed by Paolo Scifoni (president), Giampiero Audino and Paolo Colombo, after having examinated a large number of partipating products, has awarded the prize at A&E Yacht Services and has awarded a special mention to the CMC Marine Stabilis Electra with the following motivation:
Stabilis Electra, is a stabilizer fin that uses a new generation of actuator connected to a DC motor with a permanent magnet. The fin is applicable on motoryachts from 25 m of lenght, with at anchor option available and represents a new solution with brilliant prospects of further development.
This award underlines the technological innovation capabilities of CMC Marine which allow them to reach in less than four years from the birth a preminent role in the stabilization system producer sector.
